Description

Fashionable, attractive and practical hull glazing is an asset to any yacht and Trend Marine can offer a stylish choice which also creates much more light below the weatherdeck. We offer stainless steel trims for the glass to allow simple installation and integration into the yacht. Our new Sargasso Opening Hull Window creates a flush frameless appearance from the outside and an ultra-sleek minimalist look from the inside and has already caught the eye of the experts and enthusiasts. The Sargasso opening hull window can be RINA certified on request and is suitable for boats up to 24m. Trend are honored to report that the Sargasso opening hull window received a special mention at the prestigious DAME awards on its launch at METS. The jury commented: The Sargasso is a RINA approved RCD Category 1 solution to mounting an opening frameless glass porthole in a window that is designed to be bonded into a hull. The window is provided as a complete assembly; its exterior finish is completely flush and the interior surface features low profile fittings. The Jury praised the Sargassos installation possibilities, its clean uncluttered design, the fact it maximizes cabin view and also that the porthole cannot be seen from distance. A range of standard sized stainless steel portlights are available in a variety of shapes and sizes.
