Description

UK Sailmakers has spent a lot of time over the last three years developing racing winning sails for the Optimist Class. Developed by Morten Ullmann, owner of UK Sailmakers Denmark, for his son and son’s friends, the sails have won many regattas in Denmark and qualified for both the Europeans and Worlds the last two years. UK Sailmakers has two different designs for Optimist sails based on the weight of the sailor: MDK16 – for sailors up to app. 47 kg (103 lbs.) MDK16+ – for sailors over 46 kg (100 lbs.) Both sails are Cross-cut and made with premium Contender Dacron sailcloth.
