Dutch Falcon is designed by Cor D. Rover to offer a fresh take on this very successful series. This 25,50-metre model is built in aluminium and sets new standards in terms of ease of operation and even single-handed cruising.
The yacht has triple Volvo Penta IPS1050 engines and fully epitomise the quality, craftsmanship and aesthetic flair for which all Van der Valk yachts are renowned.
Among the various striking elements are the expansive floor-to-ceiling windows, which offers extraordinary panoramas of the outside world. An impressively spacious interior includes four double cabins, four bathrooms and crew quarters.
Dutch Falcon has remarkable volume for a 25-metre yacht, and this has been the starting point for a lovely interior design by Carla Guilhem. This project sees Carla showcase her vision of a contemporary yacht interior, a super-comfortable and cosy residence on the water. The design revolves around relaxation and homeliness, with an abundance of round shapes and organic forms. Suede, leather and a range of fabrics and finishes generate a sensation of comfort, with light natural oak wood and various wood textures and fluted panels adding to the neutral scheme. A calm palette of off-white and grey is blended with pop-up colours in the accessories and upholstery.
Talking of elegance, Dutch Falcon has a lovely Horizon Blue metallic livery, a favourite colour of the owners that also includes tones of purple and grey. It supports the way in which the exterior design draws attention to the windows, with the gunwale dropping down to allow more natural light to infuse the interior as well as further enhance the views outside.
