The Ring Bumpers from NIBS France are based on the same principles as mobile dock fenders and designed for maximum lifetime. Their production responds to the quality standard ISO 9001. The high-end materials make it a standard guarantee of safety during docking/accosting operations. Polyolefin foam of polyethylene, physically reticulated, is associated with a coating of polyurethane resin (prepolymer + amine) Nibraprène ®, solvent, hot sprayed with the polyamide fiber reinforcement rip stop.
This combination allows realizing the products of high quality guaranteed. This manufacturing concept allows NIBS fenders to undergo significant compression cycles without degradation of baseline characteristics. In order to increase lifetime of NIBS France’s fenders
The dimensions and performances are based on the energy dissipated, the space required between the hull and the Duke of Alba, and the height to be protected. The ring bumpers of NIBS France have a wide combination of height, outside diameters and diameters of Dukes of Alba on which they are attached. Their ring design is intended to allow them to rotate on a vertical tube, and slide along the Duke of Alba thanks to the establishment of pads made from high-density polyethylene facilitating spurting/squirting (on rotation and monitoring the tides) . During sizing the Donut it is necessary to take into consideration two energies: of Duke of Alba and of Donut in order to be able to validate the global energy absorbed by the system.
Our annular defenses can be useful during docking maneuvers, docking and realignment. They may be implemented at the entry of sluice or harbor basin, at the bridgehead, etc…
