Closed Mold Performance M821B chopped strand mat is a low-solubility emulsion solution that offers reliable performance in closed mold processes, where good fiber washing-resistance, softness, conformability, and resin flow are necessary. For vacuum, RTM, infusion, S-RIM, and press molding applications. Reliable Performance Product softness enables ease of handling and ability to conform to complex molds. Good fiber wash-resistance in the most demanding closed mold processes, including press molding applications. Packaging and Labeling Each roll is wound on a 102 mm (4") internal diameter cardboard tube and fully enclosed in Cling-Pak® wrap. Nine rolls are positioned vertically (except width 280 – it is placed horizontally) on each pallet, banded with tape and Cling-Pak® wrapped for stability and protection. Each roll bears a label detailing the product description, product code, nominal weight, roll width, roll number, and date of manufacture.
