OPTIMIZED RESIN CONSUMPTION Newly developed M7 emulsion bound chopped strand mat is specially designed as an ideal solution for open mold hand lay-up applications in a variety of industries. Performance Attributes Optimal Resin Consumption • Quick wetting with rapid air release helps optimize resin consumption and optimize resin cost. Easy Handling & Molding • Good conformability and easy to work with and less effort required, which assists in making high-quality parts with potential for reduced labor cost. Excellent Mechanical Properties • Excellent wet tensile strength and laminate properties, consistent laminate thickness. • Compared to standard E-glass, Advantex® helps with higher service life in applications facing corrosion. Application M7 is specifically designed for use in unsaturated polyester, vinyl ester resin systems in open-mold, hand lay-up applications for manufacturing boats, automotive parts, chemical tanks, flowerpots, and pools. It can also be used for other general purpose applications.
