Once waterborne, the liferaft inflates by a firm pull to the painter line. Throw-overboard liferafts are mainly used on commercial vessels, passenger ships or offshore assets. While 4-person capacity liferafts are generally not covered by the SOLAS convention and thus not eligible for SOLAS approval, the 4DK+ liferaft in our range is manufactured and tested in accordance with SOLAS/MED requirements and relevant flag state approvals.
