MissionQuest is the world’s first simulator designed specifically to address the unique requirements of small boat training. The system’s wave environment was built from the ground up to simulate high performance vessels in waves and is modularly designed to stimulate real marine equipment. To ensure seamless integration into small boat training programs, VMT’s maritime subject matter experts have developed simulation enhanced courseware to address training objectives defined by the United States Coast Guard’s Boat Operations and Training (BOAT) program and the Canadian Coast Guard’s Rigid Hull Inflatable Operator Training (RHIOT) program. By investing in MissionQuest maritime security and defense agencies are able to accelerate and extend crew competency by delivering training exercises with greater frequency and variety. MissionQuest also mitigates training and operational risk by introducing difficult or dangerous exercises in a safe, simulated environment.
