Navigation simulator MissionQuest - Fast Rescue Craft Training

MissionQuest addresses the unique requirements of small boat training. The system was built from the ground up to simulate high performance vessels in extreme conditions and to stimulate real marine equipment. To ensure seamless integration into small boat training programs, VMT’s maritime subject matter experts have developed simulation enhanced courseware to address training objectives defined by the United States Coast Guard’s Boat Operations and Training (BOAT) program and the Canadian Coast Guard’s Rigid Hull Inflatable Operator Training (RHIOT) program. By investing in MissionQuest maritime security and defense agencies are able to: - accelerate and extend crew competency by delivering training exercises with greater frequency and variety; - mitigate training operational risk by introducing difficult or dangerous exercises in a safe, simulated environment; and - reduce training costs by optimizing on-water training time.
