GMDSS simulator

The GMDSS Simulator is designed in accordance with DNV GL specifications, which guarantees optimal training value and realism for your GMDSS communications training and is suitable for carrying out assessments for ROC or GOC certificates. Additional advantages of the GMDSS simulator include the possibility to represent multiple instruments on one display and the option for the instructor to represent multiple stations simultaneously. The software instruments used for our simulators are replicas of those you will encounter in existing settings, thereby enhancing the simulation’s realism. The use of voice over IP prevents any transmission leakage, therefore no distress signals for training purposes will be ever sent out into the real world. No external signals will enter the simulation sessions either. The natural latency present in the transmission of messages has been built into the simulator module, once again reinforcing immersion the simulation training sessions.
