Smaller paddlers once struggled to find a creekboat easy to maneouver and sized to fit them, but big enough to have the speed and volume needed to boof through grade five. Not anymore.
Following in the foot steps of it’s big brother the Tuna, the Tutea is set to be the leader of the pack in the small to medium-size creek boat class. With the same smooth lines and well-proportioned rocker profile that made the Tuna to be the best creek boat on the market, the Tutea will take the smaller paddler leaps and bounds in their paddling skills and confidence.
The Tutea is 250 centimeters long, 67 centimeters wide, and has a volume of 300L. Ideal for paddlers weighing 50kg to 85kg, it has a narrower feel than the Tuna, making it easier to transition edge to edge. The edges have also been increased slightly to ensure the Tutea carries it’s speed through the exit of any waterfall or hole.
As Evan Garcia said about the Tuna, “I finally I have a kayak that will allow me to improve my paddling skills and push me to the next level.” We are confident that the Tutea will be the same, taking smaller paddlers to the next level.
