For optimal safety and comfort, the best fuses are recommended to secure your power systems. In order to complement the high current fuse holders from our WP-MDC range, we do supply the required fuses. We can offer the following type of fuses: MEGA fuses in Amp ratings of: 40 A, 60 A, 80 A, 100 A, 125 A, 150 A, 175 A, 200 A, 250 A and 300 A ANL fuses in Amp ratings of: 35 A, 63 A, 100 A, 150 A, 200 A, 250 A, 300 A, 350 A, 400 A, 500 A and 600 A Class-T fuses in Amp ratings of: 225 A, 300 A, 400 A, 450 A and 600 A MEGA fuses are suitable for 12 V and 24 V battery systems and are mainly intended for short circuit protection since these are relatively slow acting fuses. Main applications are protections of batteries, alternators and cabling. Due to their small interrupt capability of 2 kA, MEGA fuses are not suitable for use on large battery banks. The ANL fuses that we have in stock are suitable for 12 V, 24 V and 48 V battery systems. Just like the MEGA fuse type, these are mainly intended for short circuit protection due to their relatively slow acting behaviour. ANL fuses are easy to replace due to the ‘fork’ design of the terminals. Main applications are protection of batteries, alternators and cabling/ ANL fuses have a slightly larger interrupt capability than MEGA fuses, being in the range of 2.5 – 3 kA. So these are not also recommended for use on large battery banks. The Class-T fuses are compatible with any DC system up to 125 V. Since these fuses are fast acting, they have excellent current limiting properties and can be used to not only protect batteries and cabling, but also downstream equipment.
