With the clearly arranged keys and the large, color touchscreen display on the control panel, operation of the unit is quick and easy-to-learn. The explosion-proof remote control unit allows operation of the FLEXIMIX from explosion-protected areas. All control elements are located centrally for easy access. To measure material volume, the unit can be equipped with gear-tooth or Coriolis flow sensors for dosing of 2K or 3K materials. All parts of the FLEXIMIX 1 ND which contact material are rust-proof, so that even water-based varnishes can be processed without problem. Smaller automatic valves were developed specially for the new WIWA FLEXIMIX 1 ND, providing a more compact mixing unit. The valves are suitable for operation pressures up to 25 bar.
