GUARANTEED NOT TO BREAK
MJ Sleds are guaranteed not to break and dispel the theory that
something has to give. A full size aluminium frame, with all the components and
attachments are connected to the frame.
Favoured by lifeguards because of its compact size (Length 1532mm x
Width 735mm x Depth 95mm), the sled can easily be used on older model
Jetskis.
THE
MJ SLED PATENT
The major design flaw on other types of sleds is that the tow hook is placed on the top deck. This results in the sled being unable to drop down, placing excessive strain on the sled. This results in creases around the second handle. The reverse pressure acts as a springboard, bouncing the passenger, leaving them airborne when the jetski is forced to jump a wave. To eliminate this problem, MJ Sleds designed and patented the KAT model.
The simple solution was to place the tow hook on the bottom deck in a catermeran type set-up. With the tow-hook placed close to the edge of the ski's rear platform, the sled is free to drop down effectively creating a hinge between ski and sled.
The advantage of this system means not only will you be able to mount that wall of white water faster but also smoother. No longer need you worry about creasing your sled when towing a passenger. The KAT model downward travel is restricted only by rubber shock
cords.
