The inside is designed to fit the foot at a ± 20 degree Angle. So the power can be exposed to the best with using the upper and the lower kick stroke (back and forward) and the blade still remains in the extension to the body and not as it would be with normal fins in a + 20 degree angle frontward – due to the limited ability to stretch the foot in flotation direction.
