The raster method has emerged as the preferred process for creating tactile/Braille signage for the blind and visually impaired. The process is quite simple: the router drills holes into the substrate, and the Raster Braille Tool automatically inserts spheres. Because the spheres are securely encased, the resulting Braille is very durable and wear resistant.
The Raster Braille Tool is perfectly coordinated with Zünd’s routing/engraving tools, which makes the process very efficient.
Zünd’s Braille Tool utilizes the Raster™ Pen and licensing kit from Accent Signage
Systems, Inc., that provides everything you need to start producing great looking and
functional Braille signage. The licence kit includes a user manual containing all the information you need to easily and consistently make Braille signage that complies with local laws and regulations.
Designs can be made using standard available design software utilizing standard available
Braille fonts.
The RBT is fully compatible with all Zünd Universal Modules.
