Chantier Naval Delavergne

Who we are

In 1983, Patrick Delavergne created the company in a former forge in Avrillé, 25 km from Les Sables d'Olonne.

The first work carried out is aluminum rudders, as well as equipment for mussil growers in the region.

In 1990, the shipyard moved to a larger workshop, where the first boat was built, a 16 m aluminum catamaran for mussil farming.

Since then, many boats and ships for various sectors of activity such as passenger transport, maritime works and port services, rescue at sea and in inland waters, shellfish farming, diving, etc.

In 2021, Jean-Marie Coudé took over the construction site with Franck Delavergne. They strengthen the teams in place and give new impetus to the construction site.

The shipyard produces ships with various hull shapes: catamaran, monohull, front bulb, chined hulls, very tapered hulls, etc... The shipyard combines with its reflection on the construction methods of its boats a real flexibility allowing it to best meet the demands of its customers, and at the same time guaranteeing the identity of each ship.

The ships are built individually up to 35 m, and based on custom specifications, taking into account the site of use and the particularities of the shipowners' activity.

The shipyard also produces so-called "standard" boats in sizes from 3 to 8.50m, with deck plans always arranged and equipped according to the precise needs of users.
