Who we are
Based in Pisa, CMC Marine grows and consolidates its leadership in the market of stabilization, stern and bow thrusters systems for yachts and passenger ships over 16 metres. Founded in 2005, the Company draws on its founder over-twenty years of experience in the field and has in its 40 associates, mainly technicians, one of its key assets. Its highly technical approach, detailed design and ability to guarantee product performance characterize its range of innovative, flexible, dependable products. CMC Marine designs and build the most sophisticated yacht stabilization systems and thrusters (already installed onboard hundreds yachts all over the world) including the Stabilis Electra range: the world’s only stabilization system with electrical rather than hydraulic transmission, winner of the 2011 Dame Award, the most prestigious acknowledgement for technological innovation in the shipbuilding industry worldwide. In 2012 the European Patent Office issued the definitive patent for the system (EU PATENT n°2172394). CMC Marine also hold a patent on the new, advanced electronic control system DIA-LOG (n° T02012A000472), standard equipment on all the innovative SE Integrated System.
Our values
CMC Marine’s founders has an extensive knowledge in marine engineering system solutions and brought their technical approach in the Company, particularly for what it concerns the products development. There is a constant focus on the designing aspects and on the problem-solving attitude, with the aim to incorporate in a unique solution all the technical details and to ensure that each solution is tailored to the specific request. The final objective is to provide customers with flexible state-of-the-art products, which can also be personalized and whose performance can always be controlled thanks to accurate report thus providing high levels of reliability.
Company’s business model is in fact based on:
