We are the first manufacturers of electric boats in Italy. GardaSolar was founded in Rovereto in 2009 by Alberto Pozzo, an aerospace engineer fascinated by electric and sustainable navigation with the contribution of former sales manager Alessio Zanolli. Our idea was clear from day one: we wanted to help companies seize the opportunities ecotourism has to offer to grow in turnover and contribute to environmental protection.

We never gave up. Instead, we always looked ahead, knowing that sustainability wasn’t going to be a trend, but the only choice possible, and a choice that must involve everybody: from the shipyards to the hotels that want to open an electric boat rental.

Today, GardaSolar is the benchmark for sustainable mobility in Italy. Our commitment is not only to produce electric boats suitable for for the sea and lakes, but also to imagine new ambitious scenarios in the name of protecting the environment. In addition to boats, we also offer e-bikes, electric golf cars and a wide range of innovative Plug&Play technologies, such as electric outboards and retrofit kits. We also offer our engineering consultancy to design, together with our customers, sustainable amusement parks that enhance the landscape without trampling it.

But we had new and definitely more ambitious horizons in mind. That’s why, in addition to creating new electric pedal boats, (new for 2021), and an evergrowing range of technological solutions, thanks to our partnerships with other Italian successful businesses (amongst which we’d like to mention Econavighiamo and Gardenergy), GardaSolar has been offering its clients engineering and creative consultancy to design sustainable amusement parks, created from an innovative concept which has since become the company's Pay Off: electricity applied to amusement - Green, Fun, Tech.
