About Us
Our Story
At Nordic Season, we’ve always loved boats and the freedom of life on the water. Since our founding in 1991, we’ve been dedicated to building high-quality vessels, combining craftsmanship with innovation.
Our journey with floating homes started in our home marina in Finland. A simple idea—a floating home that brought together the best of boating and modern living. We didn’t know then how far this journey would take us, but we knew one thing: we wanted to build something special.
From the very beginning, we listened. Every client had a vision, every owner had a story, and every small detail mattered. Some wanted larger windows to take in the views, others dreamed of extra space for family and friends. With every request, we refined our designs, adjusted, and improved. We didn’t just build houseboats—we built homes on water, tailored to the people who would live in them.
As time passed, we expanded. What started as a passion project turned into something much bigger. Bit by bit, boat by boat, we grew—not by chasing trends, but by staying true to what the people truly wanted. We became one of the most respected manufacturers in the industry, known for our craftsmanship, attention to detail, and ability to adapt.
But as every boat lover knows, the industry is changing. Traditional boating remains a passion for some, but a new way of enjoying the water has quietly emerged—floating homes in marinas, offering people the magic of waterfront living without the need to set sail. More and more of our clients were looking for something different: not just boats, but unique, comfortable spaces to enjoy by the water.
So we embraced that change. Today, we build both. Our sailing houseboats are for those who want to explore freely, while our floating villas bring a new kind of experience to marinas—turning the waterfront into something more than just a place to dock. Whether as a personal getaway or a space to share with others, our houseboats offer a new way to enjoy the water, no matter how you choose to use them.
Through it all, our values have remained the same. We are builders, creators, and above all, listeners. We take pride in our work, not just because we love boats, but because we love the idea of giving people a home—on the water or beyond.

Land is expensive. Building a hotel? Nearly impossible for the average investor. But what if there was a way to own high-quality accommodations without the massive costs, red tape, and construction headaches? That’s where our floating apartments come in.
Our houseboats aren’t just for private use—they’re a game-changer for marinas, investors, and anyone looking to tap into the booming short-term rental market. Imagine placing a few in your local marina, offering tourists a unique, high-end stay right on the water. Unlike traditional hotels, which require huge capital, permits, and years of development, our floating apartments provide a fast, flexible, and cost-effective alternative.
Many coastal towns, lakeside areas, and even urban waterfronts lack great lodging options. Hotels can be outdated, poorly managed, or simply uninspiring. Travelers today want something different—an experience, not just a place to sleep. A floating Airbnb delivers just that: a stylish, modern, and memorable stay that stands out in any market.
And the best part? Our houseboats are delivered fully built and ready to use. Just plug them into water, electricity, and sewage, and they’re good to go. No construction delays, no unexpected costs—just a turnkey solution that starts generating income from day one.
With our houseboats, you’re not just offering a room—you’re offering an experience. Waterfront views, the gentle sway of the water, and a connection to nature that no regular hotel can match. Best of all, marinas often have untapped potential. Adding floating apartments can bring in a new revenue stream, attract more visitors, and revitalize the entire area.
Whether you’re a marina owner looking to maximize space, an investor searching for a high-demand rental opportunity, or someone who simply sees the potential of a waterfront business, our houseboats offer a low-barrier, high-reward solution.
The water is waiting. Make it work for you.
