Jastram GmbH & Co. KG

Based in Hamburg and in fourth generation of family ownership, Jastram GmbH & Co. KG has been developing, producing, distributing and servicing transverse thrusters and rudder propellers for seagoing vessels and inland waterway vessels since 1889.

With the installation of the first transverse thruster in 1955, Jastram is one of the pioneers in this field and has equipped more than 5000 ships since then. In addition to the robustness and durability of the manoeuvring and propulsion systems, noise reduction technologies for transverse thrusters are a Jastram speciality.

The Jastram Turbocharger Service division combines the sale and repair of exhaust gas turbochargers of various brands. In addition to its own product portfolio, Jastram has been the sales and service partner in Germany and Austria for the waterjet drives of HamiltonJet, New Zealand, since 2014.
