Kahe Nautic is a group of people passionate about innovation and water sports. We're based in Lacanau, Gironde, in south-west France.

The founders each have over 20 years' experience in the sports industry. We like to innovate and design quality products that give more and more people, sportsmen and women, enthusiasts and occasional users, more and more good sensations. Because we like to share. Because we love and respect these sports. Because we also know how difficult they can be, and how exclusionary they can sometimes be...

RESPECTING THE ORIGINAL GESTURE

That's why we've been working for 6 years on solutions that make surfing, stand-up paddling and kayaking easier, without touching the original gesture that each and every one of us finds magnificent and respects. Thousands of hours of Research and Development work, and sometimes hard work ;) to find solutions that make these sports easier, without distorting them!

OUR APPROACH IS DIFFERENT

Our aim is to make water sports more accessible, both in terms of practice and price. We control all aspects of our products: from R&D (design, engineering) to the choice of suppliers, including industrialization and logistics. We work with local craftsmen for the R&D phases and for the manufacture of prototypes. We are a fully-fledged French company and work with passionate sportsmen and women.

DEMOCRATIZE THE PRACTICE

The world of water sports is inspiring and fascinating. Nevertheless, they are demanding sports, both physically and mentally. Surfers, for example, are dependent on the elements: ideal wave conditions are rare. Many surfers don't have the ocean at the end of their street. Equipment and materials have come a long way, but they still don't make surfing as accessible as we'd like. The same goes for kayaking, stand-up paddling and fishing.

A USER-ORIENTED APPROACH

We always have the end user in mind. When we designed the first intelligent electrically-assisted surfboard, we knew that not everyone would see it in a positive light. Yet we understand the needs of some users. From beginner to intermediate, our Motion Core Technology assistance makes surfing more enjoyable, and more accessible. Similarly, our Kahe POD electric assist is a game-changer for water sports such as kayaking, canoeing and SUP. Unlike all other motorized watercraft to date, Kahe boards don't change the way you ride the wave, the Kahe POD doesn't change the way you paddle a SUP or kayak. It doesn't change the original gesture of these sports, which we all love. We've just made it easier!
