MARINEKART
Who we are
We are a small boatyard specialized in epoxy sandwich composites construction.
Lucio Longoni is the designer and concept developer of these exclusive boats built with a mixed technology between skis and racing boats.
In fact he grew in a motor-boats background as his father was a boat racer in the 60's. he had an early owned boat at 14's and first boat racing experiences at 16's , at 18’s switched into windsurfing (immediately after into regattas and composite sailboards manufacture). In year 1981 built the first snowboard, timely following into snowboard racing and building.

Having passion in boating and beeing capable in cnc machining and programming, in the early 90' he was back into marine activity, engaged in a composite motor and sail boatyard, (MAS-Yacht) to design and realize all precision cnc/machined parts to these boats. The first prototype of small, superlight motor-boat, the Marinekart 338 was born here.

The outcome was a mix of 2 diverse construction systems and tecniques, Alpine ski and racing sailboats. The fusion of these 2 technologies delivers sturdy, vacuumed epoxy sandwich materials, featuring extreme lightness and rigidity, shock robustness and unsinkability. www.marinekart.com
This tecnology is normally applied to extremely stressed structures such as golf clubs, tennis rackets, skis, kite and snow boards, as well as racing sailboats, airplanes, and helicopters wings, shells and components, where high tensile and structural modulus are required with the lightest possible weight.
According to the aid of CNC machining every structural part and an accurate pre-engineering we are now able to build production boats with this method without incurring in the very high production costs that normally go along with this patticular "vacuumed sandwich" molding technology.
Today these little boats represent the cutting edge performers in motor boating field, beeing capable of unmatched performances in the low power-portable
outboard range, further carrying innovative solutions to enhance the features of stability and fast planng, along with low emissions and transportability ease.
Our values
Marinekart 388 is the new, innovative successor of the worldwide known Kart 338. MARINEKART 388 is a lightweight, durable boat built with vacuum-epoxy sandwich technology, can be equipped with electric motors or combustion engines up to 20 hp(15Kw).
She can be loaded on the roof of any car and can easily be launched anywhere in the wilderness. According to her ultralite weight Kart 388 is also engineered to be completed with a “carry around" kit with a quick clamp-in/off transport wheels system.
Safe and ultra stable
In order to increase the boat stability while floating still, the catamaran bottom “scarpoons” are embarking water as ballasts to increase stability in rough water conditions, this additional side 30+30 kgs. bottom located counterweights greatly reduce boat rolling, despite the reduced/narrow shape size.
Designed in Italy and produced in Poland she is very versatile as she does not longer require port-technology. When equipped with an electric motor, it can be used in many nature reserves. The Kart 388 is easy to repair and the full epoxy sandwich construction is totally unsinkable and osmosis free.
She’s CE Certified in class D with 4 people aboard (waves up to 0,4 mt.) and in class C with 1 people aboard(waves up to 2.0 mt.).
