Sta-Lok specialises in the design, manufacture and supply of high-quality stainless steel wire rope fittings and structural tie rod systems for Marine Rigging and Architectural applications.

It’s now more than 52 years since the first introduction of Sta-Lok at the 1973 International London Boat show and it is our heritage which is the source of our continued inspiration. Developed by our Founder, Ivor Barfield, in an era without technology and where everything was crafted by hand, we are extremely proud to have to have retained our roots as a family run UK manufacturer.

Although so much has changed over the years, with continuous investment in advanced manufacturing, we still hold dear those family values on which our
business was originally founded. The company is now run by Terry Barfield alongside a number of other family members and long-term employees, retaining a culture based on our history.

With more than 52 years in the marine industry, we offer an extensive range of products for wire rope rigging, including Sta-Lok Self Fit terminals, swage terminals, tip cups, turnbuckles and lifeline fittings.

Our products are manufactured in an ethical and eco-friendly manner and we recycle 100% of all stainless steel waste produced in the manufacturing process. We also partner with other companies doing great sustainability work to contribute in our own small way.
