Its bases in Barcelona (Spain) - Europe's leading cruise port and an important node for the transport of goods — and Santo Domingo (Dominican Republic) - commercial gateway to Latin America and link to US ports — allow SYM Naval to cover two areas of great influence due to their proximity to routes with high shipping traffic.

STEEL AND ALUMINUM SHIPBUILDING

SYM Naval is the only company in the Spanish Mediterranean that builds steel vessels classified by classification societies belonging to the IACS (International Association of Classification Societies). Thus, we guarantee the high safety and quality standards required internationally.

ON THE WAY TO A 4.0 SHIPYARD

With its own department specialized in R&D&I, SYM Naval focuses its production processes on innovation, making use of new technologies such as big data, artificial intelligence (AI), robotic insertion and industrial automation. In this sense, its maximum objective is to be permanently at the technological forefront and thus take advantage of all the opportunities presented by the new naval industry 4.0.

The shipyard's technical office carefully plans each project to ensure its optimal execution, using 3D design in its digital models so that the shipowner can consult the status of the project in real time and remotely.
